Educational Technology

Educational Technology refers to any item, equipment, system or service that is used to increase, maintain, or improve a student with disabilities’ functional capabilities.

The school-wide use of appropriate Educational and Assistive devices and services ensures a wide range of alternatives for each student, and its choice and design ultimately make the curriculum more accessible and appropriate for students with different backgrounds, learning styles, abilities and disabilities, in a variety of learning contexts.

Each classroom is equipped with hardware and software that allows students to participate in any classroom activity. These include, but are not limited to, iPads, Interactive Flat Panels, touchscreen computers, sound field system, adaptive keyboards, portable word processors, word prediction software, symbol supported text, various language arts and math software.
