Parents of Special Needs Children Forum. FREE and Open to the Public.
Midland and Tri-County CMO are co-hosting an Autism Awareness event on April 20th from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM in the Multi-purpose room at The Midland School. Hear special guest speaker, Captain Gerald Turning, Jr. of Blue Ridge Autism Training, who will share information about his personal experience being a father of a child with autism as well as a retired police captain. He will talk about bridging the gap between first responders and parents. He trains first responders to interact and work with those with special needs. Tri County Care Management and Midland will also provide an overview of their services.
